Ms. Piring’ar Mercy Niyang
Ms. Piring’ar Mercy Niyang, MPH, is a Senior Public Health Advisor and the Deputy Resident Director for the Center for Global Health Practice in Nigeria.
Ms. Niyang has participated in and led various teams and programs in Monitoring, Reporting and Evaluating various comprehensive HIV and TB programs and is experienced in using the NHRIMS, NGI, and MER. She has expertise in planning, coordinating, and implementing projects, including surveys and evaluations, and has demonstrated success with operations management, process improvement, program development, development and use of data/data analytics to aid program decision making. Ms. Niyang is solution-oriented and a versatile public health professional with experience in policy, surveillance, monitoring, evaluation research, training, data analysis using various analytic and business development tools, and health education based on knowledge gained from 16 years working. Ms. Niyang also currently serves as the project manager for the APHIDS Project in Nigeria.
Ms. Niyang holds a Master’s in Public health from the University of Liverpool and has been a fellow of the International society for Healthcare Quality (ISqua) since 2014.
