In the United States, we provide technical assistance to public health departments to synchronize their data systems more effectively. This will provide a more accurate overview of HIV surveillance, sexually transmitted infection comorbidity, and care data. We are also working to enhance states’ capacity to improve viral load data collection, quality assurance, and reporting to their local Medicaid agencies, thereby allowing for enhanced reporting of the aggregate HVL-AD measure as part of the Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services (CMS) Adult Core Set.
