Mr. Jiaqin Wu is currently a data scientist at the Center for Global Health Practice and Impact. Mr. Wu completed a Master of Science in Data Science for Public Policy at McCourt School, Georgetown University, and a Bachelor of Management in Customs Administration from the University of International Business and Economics in Beijing, China.

Having joined CGHPI as a data scientist assistant in March 2023, Mr. Wu has been actively involved in supporting the Haiti data team. His primary focus has been on the development and fine-tuning of an HIV patient’s treatment status prediction model. His passion lies in using data science to address important public health challenges. He specializes in analyzing and visualizing data to clearly communicate public health insights, particularly through dashboards that are accessible to non-technical audiences.
