Dr. Shedrack Osuji, MD, MS is a Policy and Implementation Fellow at the Center for Global Health Practice and Impact at Georgetown University. He works with the ADVANCE team in support of the Ending the HIV Epidemic initiative, with a focus on rural HIV service delivery and disaster preparedness. His work includes strengthening continuity of HIV care during and after disasters, identifying barriers to HIV service delivery in rural communities, and developing evidence-informed solutions to address them.
Dr. Osuji is a physician with experience in clinical and public health settings in Nigeria, the Philippines, and the United States. His areas of expertise and research interests include HIV care and outcomes, infectious diseases, health equity, health systems strengthening, and global health implementation. He has experience in clinical care, public health research, program analysis, and global health practice.
Dr. Osuji holds a medical degree from V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University in Ukraine and a Master of Science in Global Health from Georgetown University.
