Ms. Dzifa Awunyo-Akaba is a Technical Assistance Provider for the Center for Global Health Practice and Impact at Georgetown University Medical Center.
Ms. Awunyo-Akaba previously served as a Project Officer at the Health Resources and Services Administration’s (HRSA) HIV/AIDS Bureau and as a Program Officer at DC Health’s HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis, STD, and TB Administration (HAHSTA). Internationally, she served as the PEPFAR Coordinator in Ghana and was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Mali from 2004 to 2006, where she focused on maternal and child health.
Ms. Awunyo-Akaba holds a Master of Public Health from Tulane University and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and International Development Studies from Dalhousie University.
