In Cameroon we support the implementation of HIV prevention, care, and treatment services across the clinical cascade for adult and children in the general population as well as in key populations to achieve and sustain HIV epidemic control. This support includes improving HIV case finding, getting those living with HIV on treatment through innovative linkages to care, ensuring retention in care, increasing prevention of mother-to-child transmission coverage, and optimizing TB/HIV integration. We also support the health protection portfolio through capacity building and system strengthening of the government structures charged with preventing, detecting, and responding to health threats, particularly COVID 19, to limit its impact on HIV/TB and other health programs.
